USD/YEN Update 18 November 2025

The goal finally in view

USD/YEN still hugging the uptrend support despite a pretty lifeless DXY. 10 year JGB yields continue to rise while US 10 year is treading water.

So we are looking for 160.00+ when price hits the top of the uptrend. We’ll have seen at least MoF, BoJ talk if not intervention. Stop (take profit) is now just below 152.80.

We’re expecting strength in DXY, USD/CAD at least, but no great progress northwards. This should take USD/YEN to our target where we will square up.
